Rated 5 out of 5 by Catho from Quality! I use this stockpot to slow cook soup over winter and it looks just as good now, as when i purchased it 4 years ago. Definitely a worthwhile investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Beckscookingagain from Does the job. I've been using this pot for a couple of years now, and I love it. The lid will sit still at a tilt if you wanna let steam out for a simmer, the spout-ey edges are great for pouring, even when it's heavy, and I get an even heat distribution. The size is perfect for large soups or covering a boiled pudding or ham hock. I even turned it into a (faster version of a) slow cooker for silverside beef by sitting it on a low flame on top of a grill topper for holding woks; the base maintained a constant temperature, and it turned out great. Plus it looks elegant (which encourages me to cook with it, for some reason). I bought this as part of set though - the individual price is pretty steep.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rahul from Great Pot! Fantastic Pot especially if you are cooking dishes which must be cooked longer hours. I am from India and usually we buy & bring utensils from India. We bought this pot at Nunawading just to try and on the very first cooking we fell in love with this pot. We cook a lamp curry dish which normally takes around two hours to cook and usually a thick layer of curry will be overcooked/burnt and stick to the inner bottom of the pot. It is harder to clean and small amount of curry will be wasted always. When we cook the same curry in this Essteele pot, there was no burnt curry at the bottom and every bit of the dish flows smoothly to the container. Curry tastes better without the burnt smell and easier to clean. I believe it was due to the multilayered bottom with the copper layer goes in the middle. This helps to retain and pass the heat uniformly. It is a great product to have especially for those dishes which takes longer to cook.
