I love poached eggs on toast but it’s always a struggle to get it right, from the correct ratio of vinegar and water to the way you put the eggs in the water, and then the occasional stirring.

Steak Bacon Cheese Pies

Recipe: Steak Bacon cheese Pie
Prep Time: 10-15 mins

For the filling
- 1kg chuck steak, diced
- 2tbs plain flour
- 4 rashers streaky bacon, sliced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, sliced
- 2 cups beef stock
- Sea Salt
- Black Pepper
- Extra Virgin Olive oil
For the pastry
- 4 Sheets Short Crust Pastry
- 4 Sheets Puff Pastry
- 1cup pizza blend cheese
- 2 Tbs ketchup
- 2 egg yolks

Did you know that in most cases, non-stick pans stop performing not because of an issue with the non-stick, but due to a build up of oil and residue in the pan?
